Description: Handsome and rustic vaisselier made from solid oak by the end of the 17th century during the reign of King Louis XIV. This very primitive piece consists of an upper part providing a total of 4 shelves to display crockery standing upon the buffet featuring a pair of double paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment with single shelf. Note that the bottom shelf, the lock and the key are not original and were replaced at some point. Circa date 1690. Dimensions 84”high/ 55”wide/ 22 ½”deep.
