Description: There's a tiny nick in the back of the case, otherwise this Queen 5/8 straight razor made by Henry Sears & Son, Prussia, is in very good condition. Unfortunately, I don't know for sure what the case is made of, but based on its age, the fact that it was impervious to the point of a red-hot pin, and that it smells even nastier than bakelite when briskly rubbed with a thumb, I'm comfortable saying horn.
Status: Sold Reference#: 073
Condition: good/very good Year: 1865
