Description:
We were delighted to find this very clean, good running late 19th Century Victorian mantle clock. The movement runs for eight-days with a strike on the hours and once on the half-hours. The inside of the backboard is covered with a clean dark grey paper. The Cherubs and mirrors are later replacements. The beautiful original door glass retains the old ANSONIA name and there is an alarm mechanism which is in working condition. Overall, one of the more attractive clocks in our current collection and priced appropriately for the benefit of the buyer.
