Description: 5.5" high (12.7 cm) c1900 marked GERMANY with impressed number 7033 (on reverse just above the right shoe), this fellow can be found with a different face on page 71 fig. 322 of Joseph Horowitz's book "Figural Humidors Mostly Victorian". Mr. Pickwick is in FABULOUS condition!! Mint...were it not for a tiny flake to the bottom inside rim of the lid. The hand-painting is pristine! As fresh as the day it was applied. No scratches or wear of any kind.
