Description: A really quite stunning pair of nineteenth century opera glasses dating to around 1890. Each side of the embossed leather is an intricate band of gilt filigree work. Even with the eye pieces there is a fine band of tiny beading, the detailing makes them really top-notch. Excellent condition, both physically and optically, measuring 4 1/2" wide x 3" tall extending to 3 3/4". Worldwide insured airmail included.
