Description: Fabulous sgraffito jug made in Okinawa Japan in the famous pottery area of Tsuboya, where they have been making this type of pottery since the 17th century. The design is of fish which is typical of the area. The kanji mark is that of the Kobashi studio. The jug dates to between 1940 and 1960. It is in excellent condition.
