Description:
Beautiful pair of original water colors done by artist Suzanne Hetzel in the 90s. Outside dimension is 24 1/4"w x 20 1/2"h. The frames are yellow metal and have some minor surface scratches (see picture). This is a minor imperfection and if you choose, these frames can be replaced inexpensively. Shipping is $50 to the lower 48. I will refund the difference if the shipping cost is lower to your area.
This Chicago area artist does pseudo-realistic paintings in watercolor. While they appear realistic, a closer look reveals how the artist incorporates a variety of techniques including salt, scratching, sanding, alcohol, pouring and repel to create the finished affect.
All works are original watercolors painted on 100 % rag French or Italian paper. This paper will not discolor over years and will maintain the strong and vivid color the artist has intended. The paint used is the highest quality available. It is pure, highly refined pigment from England and America. Suzanne’s paintings are intended to last indefinitely with proper care. All mats are acid free to additionally protect the artwork.
These would look great with any French Country decor. Similar works by this artist are currently priced at $450 each. Please e-mail me if you require more pictures.
