Description: Nose Spectacles or "Pince Nez" (Pinch Nose) c1895. Folding with original carrying pouch. Each lens measures 1.1/2" X 1" and there is a later sterling chain that would have been clipped to a lapel buttonhole in case the spectacles fell off. The chain is marked Italy and 925. There is a tiny chip on the edge of one lens. The pouch is leather. Circa 1895. No makers mark.
