Description: A 1950 Rotunda yearbook from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Several watercolor paintings of various buildings by Sarah Inglish McDonald. Pictures of Bob Hope at a pep rally before a Notre Dam game. The 1950 SMU football team's captain was Doak Walker who went on to play halfback for the Detroit Lions from 1950 to 1955 and had a four-time all-pro and Hall of Fame career. He passed away in 1998 due to complications from a skiing accident, but his legend lives on. The Doak Walker award is presented ach year to the nation's best running back.
