Description: Solid brass round frame from France C.1847. Woman in long dress on the back easel with the date in her apron. Tiny beading in brass around the photo with ribbon motif on outer edge. Laurel wreath and tied flowing ribbon as header. Stands on small ball feet with a solid brass back and easel. Has not been polished as has a wonderful aged patina but of course brighter sheen if desired. Excellent condition,measures 5.75H X 4 3/8L X .50D with closed easel,Interior of back plate for photo 4.25L X 4.25H.
