Description: This is a great pair of larger Art Nuveau 'bronzed' spelter sculptures signed J. Causse and are about 20" tall (18" statue on 2" base). The statuettes are in excellent condition with the original green and yellow hues mostly intact. They are entitled 'A LA FONTAINE' and 'LA CRUCHE CASSEE' and are circa 1900 or thereabouts. Both pices are signed on base and there are also brass title plaques on front of round 'marbleized' wood bases. These pieces are absolutely lovely and would brighten up any living or dining room.
