Description: Item/Description: Lot/Set/Collection/Grouping of Fourteen (14) Vintage “Standard Oil Company of California” Promotional Advertising Giveaway Photographic Landscape Photography Color Art Prints depicting Various Regions/Historic Landmarks of the Southwest ***Each Print is Fully Frameable/Framable, and contains an elaborate amount of information on their reverse sides: -The Photographic Identification Data -Photographer’s Name -Commentary/Literary Narratives about the Historic Landmark/Site by a Variety of Famous Authors & Writers -and the Legend “Standard Oil Company of California” Age/Period: Vintage - ca.1940s-1950s (in-depth research has been conducted to narrow down the time frame as much as possible - this time period estimate is based upon the type of paper and printing method used, as well as the dates each contributing writer lived/died as well as served at various posts (i.e. as editor of “Arizona Highways” Magazine, as editor of “Desert Magazine,” as Director Museum of Science Boston, as Professor at Stanford University, etc.) Manufacturer/Identification/Markings: Standard Oil Company of California Material(s): Paper Quantity: Fourteen (14) Measurements: 14"W x 11 & ½”H Condition: Ranges from Very Good+++ to Excellent, with all of the prints retaining vibrantly colorful and vividly crisp imagery.
