Description: An unusual antique shell cameo brooch, 15 kt. Yellow gold circa 1865. The frame and bezel are polished and are slightly curved. This has five (5) different soldered twisted wires applied with six (6) overlapping polished wires in a fancy ""X"" design. The shell cameo is finely carved and depicts a Greek god, possibly Zeus, with a beard and laurel in his hair.
