Description: An exceptional Victorian 14K gold tassel pin necklace with a 14K gold Victorian chain. The drop has bright cut engraved decoration and clack taille d'apargne enameling. There are two wonderful tassel drops with black enameling and engraving. The chain is of the period as well and quited elaborate. The necklace is 21" in length and the tassel drop adds an additional 3 1/4". It dates c. 1880 and weighs 48 grams. The chain can come off so that the lower section can be worn as a brooch. The pendant has a more contemporary clasp for security. The chain measures 21" and the pin/pendant measures 4" by 1 1/8". It weighs 37.3 grams and is in very good condition. It dates c. 1880.
