Description:
For sale is an Victorian antique mirrored vanity tray. (For table or vanity, aka plateau). Gorgeous antique plateau with metal mount with beveled mirror. Tin bottom with clamps to remove should you ever want to replace the original mirror. The mirror is in what I consider good vintage condition; some scratches, but nothing distracting, and once you have your pretties on it, you won't ever see them anyway! This tray is 10 x 10 inches, and 1.5 inches tall and heavy! The four flowered feet are painted, and it appears to be the original paint. A very luxurious tray to place on your dresser. An almost identical one is shown on pg. 243 of the 1970 book by L. Lantz on antique Am. Kitchenware. These were actually used as formal centerpieces to set a cut-glass bowl on; today, we use them to put perfume bottles on! Shipping within continental USA only. Thanks for visiting More Than McCoy! sldts12/08
