Description: Victorian Papier Mache Inkstand Circa 1850 Stand measures 11 x 7.5 inches. The ink wells measure 3 x 2.9 inches. Black wooden stand with Gold decoration! This fabulous Mid 19th Century Antique Victorian Papier Mache Inkstand comes complete with it's original cut glass topped ink bottles and stamp box. Condition good, though it has some rubbing to the original painted and gilded decoration. Glass tops are both chipped and one has repairs (see photos) Retails for $1,700.00!! No marks on the bottom We pack very well, however; if the item is breakable we strongly recommend shipping insurance.
