Description: We believe this to be a 19th century Chinese jadeite stone inkwell. Not usually dealing in oriental items this is an opinion only. It is mostly beige in colour with variations, darkening towards the base. The carvings are wonderful with lions and what looks like vegetation below. The condition is very good with the smallest indentation at the lip ogf the left-hand ink hole.
