Description:
Amazing old technology here. One of the first digital watches made with mechanical movement. It is Swiss made by Lucerne. The rectangular window displays the minutes and the square window show the hour. The top of the case is a brushed gold plate. The sides and back are stainless steel. The measurement is 1 5/8" not including the crown. Then it is 1 1/2 from lug to lug.
It runs excellently.
The case show some wear. Mainly it need to be cleaned and polished. There is a bit of of the gold plating that has worn off toward the area where the band is. The crystal shows a few microscopic scratches. One close inspection the deep blue metallic face show some red specks that I assume is specks of rust.
Even with the flaws mentioned it is a rare and nostalgic time piece. I am sure this watch is restorable. The band show quite a bit of wear and will need to be replaced.
