Description: Nearly 100 years ago, President Theodore Roosevelt, went on a bear hunt. Due to his compassion for an old bear and not shooting it, the Teddy bear came into being. I have never seen another like this and he is just too adorable ! Made of heavy pot metal with black and red enamel, he has rhinestone paws, eyes and foot. The brooch is 1 3/4” long and is in good vintage condition. Unsigned.Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect.
