Description: Very unusual Waltham Gimballed Deck Watch. Waltham #28924206 CA1935. Note electrical contacts, the ".02Amp" plate on front of box, the "Gaertner Scientific Corporation, Chicago U.S.A." plate on the top and the modifications around the seconds dial. Obviously a measuring instrument of some form designed for a specific Gaertner project. Watch keeps excellent time and is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Three tiered mahogany box measures approx. 5" square.
